In 2019, the concept of LOTT holiday homes & more was founded. It began in 2011 with one cottage in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes province in the village of Murol. Originally, the house was a ruin which we, Dutch owners Eugene & Patricia de Jong, rebuilt and renovated for our own personal use.
Soon we received inquiries from our longtime guests at La Bastide, our small-scale holiday resort, (www.la-bastide.nl) whether they could rent the cottage in Murol. For the past five years, we’ve rented it out during the summer months and this turned out to be a great succes.
From one holiday cottage to many more!
We have noticed an increased demand for detached holiday homes for couples and young families who travel during the whole year. With our longstanding experience of renting out holiday homes at La Bastide we felt confident to take on a new challenge and therefore we founded the concept of LOTT holiday homes & more.

At this moment, LOTT holiday homes & more consists of five detached holiday cottages suitable for 2-4 persons. In the future we will expand LOTT with more cottages scattered around France. We are keeping track of the French market and buy and subsequently renovate the unique finds to a LOTTage; a holiday home that meets all of your wishes. Exactly like you are accustomed to by us!
